"What it did was something far more humbleβ€”and at the same time, far more important: it allowed me to remain here."

Thank you for sharing your journey. Medication allows us to live as vibrantly and whole as we are able.

What stood out to me was accepting what is best for you. And that may change. We don't live static lives so having that awareness is key.

I appreciate your honesty.

This is such brave writing, and a reminder to us all that we never know what someone hides behind a smile or an "I'm okay". Thank you for sharing this, and reminding me we shouldn't take everything at face value, but sometimes look beneath the surface, behind the smile.

Your story really touched me, especially because I spent so many years fighting myself too. I truly hope many people will read your words and feel free to share their own story without shame. I really think we need more stories like this. No one should ever feel ashamed for struggling, asking for help, or taking medication. There is still far too much stigma around mental health, and it's time for that to change.

The hardest battles are often the invisible ones. People see someone who keeps going, but they don't see the exhaustion, the pain, or the strength it takes just to make it through the day. We are taught from a young age that we should be able to do everything on our own. But needing help doesn't make us weak. It makes us human.

Thank you for reminding people that there is courage in being honest, and that no one should have to suffer in silence. ❀️
