The part about feeling pressured to constantly produce content on Medium really resonated with me. Kinda relieved I don't have to do it to the same extent anymore. My word of the year is "surrender" :)
I think Medium did me a favor to 'break' just before my surgery, and play right into my hand with the word I chose for this year. I love your word, Diana!
I haven't thought about a power word, Marie. But seeing as I'm listening to Mel Robbins right now, it's probably Let Them - not taking on other people's drama, in a nutshell, and being mindful of my reactions to external shit. Sounds good in theory ;) xx
I guess mine would be “accept” because I need to accept that I can’t do everything I want and accept the aging me that is so different from a year ago.
My association with the word reset is that there will also be a restart. Getting rid of the old ballast and starting with a new slate, but with your values and standards that you have deep inside.
I agreee so much with RESET. I've been feeling that the past 8 years did me so dirty. And rlly in 2025 I've been drinking less and I have shifted so much in my perspective and outlook on life. Thank you for showing this word, Marie. I'll hold this until the end of the year and see where it's taking me ❤️❤️❤️

Yes, it sounds good in theory, but the first step is to be aware of it, and you're there already. Now for the next step 🤍

I think accept is a great word to live by, and also feel words come to us at the moment we need them most.
I try every year to think of one - i think last year I stole yours, lol - not sure about this one - tho its on my mind!
You can always steal mine when they work for you 💜
i do want one similar to reset but i cant think of the word - i want to prioritise things that matter to me and those i care about
Maybe 'prioritise' can be your word, or 'harmonise' where you bring different aspects of your life to align for a sense of peace?

Yes, definitely a restart after a reset, and sometimes an entire abandon when some activities don't serve a purpose anymore.

It’s wonderful to know my word fits for you, Adrian, and I wish you all the success you need for 2025, to fulfil your personal goals 🤍
